Rasheed Chappell is Bloodthirsty

Thanks to our friends at Black Flag Shoppe for catching these photos of Rasheed Chappell wearing our Bloodthirsty shirt at the Lord Finesse birthday bash that went down last week. Even bigger thanks to our man Rasheed for rocking the shirt and making it look oh so good. We know this was a big night for Rasheed and we're glad that we w'ere able to be a tiny part of the evening. Check out both Black Flag Shoppe and Rasheed Chappell online.

From When Giants Meet:
So let’s bring 2010 on right and dead all other Exhibit C re-dos with homie Rasheed Chappell going in on it. Jay-Z made the death of auto-tune, Rasheed just elevated Exhibit C… and there ain’t no coming down so let’s not even attempt to do another one folks.

Real Hip Hop Lives

We introduced you guys to Rasheed Chappell a few weeks ago. Since then Rasheed and our friend When Giants Meet met up and did a little photoshoot featuring some of our clothing. The shots are incredible and we can't thank both of them enough for supporting Single Second. Check out the shots below.

Also, check out this video put together by RSG Productions featuring Rasheed doing his thing at the Armory Tavern.

Introducing: Rasheed Chappell

You'll no doubt be able to tell that we here at Single Second listen to a lot of Metal and Hardcore music. That much is obvious. What you might not know is that we also have a deep appreciation of hip-hop as well. A relationship that I've talked about before. It's not to say that we don't listen to hip-hop anymore, just that I guess you could say that we're bored of it.
Now I'm not about to say that Rasheed is changing the face of hip-hop or anything crazy like that, I hate those types of statements. But what I will say is that, in a time where pretty much all of the music I listen is rock oriented, it's impressive that someone can come along and easily introduce themselves into that mix. It's evident there's no fake lyrics, impersonations or trying to be something he's not. It's just a pure passion for the art.

Loooong weekend!

The Pirate Signal

Seen these guys at Warped Tour this past summer where they were playing the Skull Candy tent, and they absolutely killed it.  Playing in the early afternoon at a small tent on a piece of linoleum they put on the show of the day.  The passion and sinceriety was flowing out of Yonnas' pores.  If you are going to be in the Denver area on March 14th go to their show.  This might be the show that makes or breaks them, so give them some love and a little extra for me!

Felt

This song is an absolute beast.  Felt is a supergroup made up of Slug and Ant from Atmosphere and Murs from the Living Legends.  This song is just an absolute monster.

Just so you don't think the last one was a fluke.
