You'll no doubt be able to tell that we here at Single Second listen to a lot of Metal and Hardcore music. That much is obvious. What you might not know is that we also have a deep appreciation of hip-hop as well. A relationship that I've talked about before. It's not to say that we don't listen to hip-hop anymore, just that I guess you could say that we're bored of it. Now I'm not about to say that Rasheed is changing the face of hip-hop or anything crazy like that, I hate those types of statements. But what I will say is that, in a time where pretty much all of the music I listen is rock oriented, it's impressive that someone can come along and easily introduce themselves into that mix. It's evident there's no fake lyrics, impersonations or trying to be something he's not. It's just a pure passion for the art.

A long time ago I was on the Monster Energy website, and noticed they had a purple energy drink called Mixxd...so anyone that knows me knows how excited I got. I have waited, and waited....and waited until they finally made there way up north to Saskatoon, and today was that day, today is a happy day, I love today, I love Monsters. Period.
So if anyone ever wants to buy and/or send me some free Monsters, you will be my favorite!
Another Story: About 3 months ago I ordered a 10" QEE Bart Simpson toy. I just came to terms "I got took" because when you order something, and it doesn't show up for 3 months, you lose hope, I lost hope, I also thought I just through away a bunch of money. Then all the sudden, for some reason, it shows up today, awesome!
Jay-Z is good. He is good at making music, if he wasn't he wouldn't be so popular. If he wasn't he wouldn't be so rich. He's good. A lot of people are good at making music and marketing themselves, and they get popular, but Jay-Z does the little things that make him better. The two best examples are these, in 2008 Jay-Z was picked to be the headliner at the Glastonbury Festival, the lead singer of Oasis, Noel Gallagher, said that having him headline was rubbish, and a proper rock band should headline, like Oasis. So Jay-Z comes out for his headlining set and starts with Wonderwall, Oasis` first big single. Even though he dosen`t know most of the words and dosen`t do it very well, the fact that he did it was killer.
The All Points West Festival this year the Beastie Boys were schedueled to headline. Adam Yauch, whose rap name is MCA, was diagnosed with cancer of the salivary gland and the headlining performance, tour and album were put aside. Jay-Z came on to headline the festival and came out to No Sleep Till Brooklyn, one of the Beastie Boys early hits, this one was done much better than the Oasis one, probably because it was done out of homage rather than to stick it Noel Gallagher. This is what happens whenever Pitbulls are near humans. It's part of their DNA you know, they've been bred to kill. Dogs like this are a menace to peaceful neighborhoods. They may be nice while they're puppies but as they grow their brain swells and they'll snap and turn on their owners and go on a killing spree, not even bullets can stop them, or unlock their jaw. Death Metal Anime Music Video. Inspired by Hateball's post on Mishka's Bloglin yesterday, I started looking for more anime movies with death metal soundtracks. I think I've stated more than once that my favorite band for the last few years has been The Black Dahlia Murder, so naturally I started there. I've only seen Ninja Scroll once and barely remember it, what I do remember was thinking that it was the best anime I had ever seen. So here's the best Death Metal Anime Music Video in my opinion.
My search didn't end there, I started looking for more bands and eventually came across these videos as well.
